The Paris Climate Agreement Report Card: How Did the World Fare?

In 2020, renewable energy sources accounted for 72% of all new power capacity added globally, with solar and wind power leading the way. While there have been some positive developments in this area, including the Green Climate Fund and the Paris Agreement`s commitment to mobilize $100 billion annually by 2020, the target has not been met yet. There is still a long way to go to ensure that countries have the resources they need to fight climate change.
